On the night of 18 November 2014, Pacific Alliance announced its acquisition of Beijing Tian'an Holiday Sports Club ("Beijing THSC"), making Beijing THSC the latest golf club to be acquired by Pacific Alliance as part of its expansion strategy in Beijing. The Guantao team included partner Zhan Yonghong, supported by associates Shen Yijun, Tan Che and Li Yuhan of Beijing Office, as well as associates from Hong Kong and Shenzhen offices.
Since its inception in 2009, Pacific Alliance has been striving to provide its members and guests with an exceptional golfing experience in some of the world's most famous cities and golf courses. As part of its expansion drive, Pacific Alliance is currently acquiring or teaming up with many world-renowned golf clubs located in US cities such as Hawaii, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, San Francisco, and Miami, and in China, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Many more top quality golf courses in Asia New Zealand and Europe are expected to join forces with Pacific Alliance as part of its ambitious golf course projects.
On 19 September 2012, Pacific Alliance officially launched its international golf memberships. Today, its members can access more than 170 golf courses that are part of the Pacific Alliance network, including 10 self-owned golf courses in North America, 32 TPC golf courses operated by the PGA Tour, as well as other golf courses in North America, South East Asia, Jeju Island (Korea), Australia, and China.
Pacific Alliance plans to inject substantial funds to redesign and renovate this newly-acquired Beijing THSC golf course. The design will be led by Tiger Woods, making Beijing THSC golf course the second golf course in the world designed by him. The newly designed golf course will also be made the flagship golf course of "Pacific Alliance Presidents/ Diamond Club", and renamed as "Pacific Alliance National Golf Club".
